After helping students as a counselor at WNC for 19 years, I transferred to admissions and records. As Director, I oversee all aspects of admissions and records, including registration, degree progress, graduation, transcripts, and much more! Our office strives to simplify the admissions and records process for students as much as we can while following college, system and state policies. My objective is to assist students to be successful in college and acquire life-long skills and knowledge.

My contribution to the student services team and to students is to simplify the process of auditing a student's progress toward their degree program goal. A degree audit system, DARwin, will be implemented and will be used by counselors and admissions staff to assist students in selecting courses to complete their degrees. Bringing some simplicity into the complex process of getting a degree is my job goal!

Kelly Kiesow
Athletics/Admissions and Records Specialist
My career began at WNC in February 2001 in the Business Office. Currently I am working in the Admissions and Records Office as a specialist processing applications for admissions, transcript requests, degree declarations, enrollment verifications, name changes, high school authorizations and answering student questions. I also track student athlete's files to certify eligibility. My goal for WNC is to help out all of the great diverse students who enter this school seeking a degree to further their education. Being a "people person", I feel that I am capable of guiding these students in the right direction to obtain the knowledge they deserve.
Julie Lewis-Dewitt
Graduation/International Admissions and Records Specialist
I have worked in the admissions and records office at WNC since 1996. I am the graduation clerk, coordinating all aspects of graduation applications from beginning to end, and a historical consultant for the commencement ceremonies! I am also responsible for international student applications and am the front-line contact for residency issues. For a creative diversion, I help organize the annual recycled art(icles) show each spring.
