Coffee with Carol
The WNC Foundation is proud to present "Coffee with Carol" events to familiarize the community with the many outstanding faculty and programs at WNC. Join President Carol Lucey at these free, quarterly discussions with professors from the various campuses. Enjoy coffee and a continental breakfast and receive a "Coffee with Carol" commemorative mug.
Tickets Available for Wildcats Fund-Raiser
Western Nevada College's sixth annual Wildcats Athletics Benefit will be Friday, Jan. 16, at 6 p.m. at the Peppermill Hotel-Casino in Reno. The event, which includes a three-course prime rib dinner, auctions, and entertainment, will benefit WNC Intercollegiate athletic programs in men's baseball and women's softball.
Featured speaker will be Adam Silver, deputy commissioner of the National Basketball Association. He has consistently been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Sports by the Sporting News and the Sports Business Journal. He has also been recognized by Time Magazine and CNN on their list of Global Business Influentials, which features 20 of the world's leading corporate executives.
WNC receives no state general funding and must support the teams through private and corporate donations.

Campus Chat is on the Air!
Television viewers in the WNC service area can get the latest news about WNC from the comfort of their living room. This lively half-hour show updates viewers on new programs, people at the college, building projects and services to the community. Helaine Jesse, Vice President of Development & External Affairs at WNC, hosts the show. Each edition airs for the entire month.
